Christopher S. Morin, following an enlistment term in the United States Navy, received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude (1994), and a Master of Arts Degree, summa cum laude (1995), from the University of South Florida. Mr. Morin served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida and then attended Stetson University College of Law where he was a Senior Associate for the Stetson Law Review and received his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, in 1999. During law school, he received the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the Elizabeth M. Leeman Publication Award, Dean’s List of Scholars, Who’s Who Among American Law Students, and the Federal Internship Liaison to the Honorable Elizabeth M. Kovachevich, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Morin practices and counsels local, regional and international clients in the defense of disputed civil matters, from presuit through trial and appeal, including those pertaining to personal injury, premises liability, aviation, governmental entities, negligent security, construction, product liability, property damage, general liability, insurance coverage, extra contractual litigation and bad faith, and first party claims, to name a few.  He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all State courts and before the United States District Courts for the Middle, Southern, and Northern Districts of Florida. He has tried both civil and criminal cases, including numerous bench trials and jury trials. Mr. Morin serves on the Executive Board of the Aviation Insurance Association; he is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section, Mr. Morin has authored several articles that were published in the Stetson Law Review and the Journal of Air Law & Commerce, and is frequently asked to present on topics related to defense litigation.  Mr. Morin is a licensed pilot and has owned and operated several aircraft – a Cessna Turbo 182 and a Beech A36 Bonanza.
