Christopher S. Morin, following an enlistment term in the United States Navy, received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude (1994), and a Master of Arts Degree, summa cum laude (1995), from the University of South Florida. Mr. Morin served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida and then attended Stetson University College of Law where he was a Senior Associate for the Stetson Law Review and received his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, in 1999. During law school, he received the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the Elizabeth M. Leeman Publication Award, Dean’s List of Scholars, Who’s Who Among American Law Students, and the Federal Internship Liaison to the Honorable Elizabeth M. Kovachevich, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Morin is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all State courts and before the United States District Courts for the Middle, Southern, and Northern Districts of Florida. He has tried both civil and criminal cases, including numerous bench trials and a number of jury trials as a law student prosecutor with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Morin is the Director of the Attorneys’ Division of the Aviation Insurance Association.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Litigation Section and the American Bar Association Tort and Insurance Practice section; he is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section, the National Transportation Board Bar Association, and is a Panel Attorney for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Mr. Morin has also authored several articles that were published in the Stetson Law Review and the Journal of Air Law & Commerce, including Flying the Not-So-Friendly Skies: Charas v. TWA’s Definition of “Service” Under the ADA’s Preemption Clause Exposes Airlines to Tort Liability.
