Kevin Graeme Smith is Murray, Morin and Herman’s London Representative.  Because of Mr. Smith’s knowledge and experience gained in actively handling aviation and non-marine claims in the London Market since 1978, he is able to assist our professionals in providing legal services consistent with the needs of the London Market.

Mr. Smith retired from Allianz in May of 2020 and, at that time, was Global Head of Aviation Claims.  Mr. Smith was responsible indirectly for 55 claims handlers worldwide.  Mr. Smith has been a working name at Lloyd’s and has handled claims internationally for such notable aviation accounts as Federal Express, Air Canada, Aero Mexico and Mexicana, Asiana, Teledyne Continental Motors, KLM and numerous airframe and component manufacturers.  Additionally, as a non-marine claims handler, Mr. Smith was responsible for accounts including Canadian Automobile Lloyd’s Binding Authorities, Property and Casualty U.S. Binding Authorities, Employers Re Retro Insurance Protection and various professional indemnity clients.  Having handled a number of major losses during his career as a lead underwriter, Mr. Smith brings significant experience and assistance to MMH and our handling of these types of matters.
